A demon of the “Slime” race that covers its core with mucus. Self-proclaimed “Dark Lord”.
Originally, the Slime race is a parasitic organism that symbiotically coexists with its host by healing the host’s injuries and illnesses, as well as offering advice with its overflowing intelligence. However, it can take over the host using a curse that induces hallucinations.
He refers to himself as the “Strongest King in Slime History” and boasts the ability to control the host by showing them hallucinatory dreams. If he manages to invade the body, victory is almost assured.
He resides by parasitizing the guardian of the “Hell” labyrinth in the Divine Continent.

Vita self-destructs completely, and is described by Rudeus as “an idiot on my level”.
Titles like “Slime King” or “Dark Lord “are probably just self-proclaimed, and there’s a separate Demon King in the Slime race.
He’s the only Apostle who cooperated out of pure gratitude towards Hitogami. However, initially, he was hesitant out of fear of Laxus and didn’t seem inclined to do anything for Hitogami. He was convinced to inhabit Vita by Geese, who promised significant support for a big battle in exchange.
Capabilities
He possesses a curse that shows hallucinatory dreams to his host.
By entering the opponent’s body and parasitizing, he can control them by showing hallucinatory dreams, which induces a comatose state in the victim.
Unless special tools are used, there is no way to prevent Vita’s hallucinations, and once he invades the body, victory is almost assured.
Ordinary Slime beings cannot control their hosts, so Orsted regards Vita as a more dangerous existence than the Slime Demon King.
Events in the Story
Originally he is an ordinary Slime who was unaware of his curse, he learned about his ability from Hitogami when he was drowning in a river and managed to survive by taking over a fish.
Using his ability, he took over the Demon King and wreaked havoc, but was defeated by the Death God Laxus. To escape from Laxus, he was taught the way to the Divine Continent’s labyrinth called “Hell” by Hitogami.
Hitogami informed him with scorn that Vita’s actions had led to the near-extinction of the Slime race. However, he didn’t hold any grudge against Hitogami as he had no attachment to his own kind.
He was asked by Hitogami for cooperation in the battle with Rudeus, informing him of Laxus’s death. Out of gratitude, he agreed.
He parasitized Vita to assist the Sperd tribe suffering from an epidemic.
Geese told him to buy time by keeping Rudeus occupied with the epidemic, using the Sperd tribe as hostages. However, he couldn’t bear the idea of the Sperd tribe going extinct after his own race, so he decided to covertly treat the Sperd tribe and make it appear as though the epidemic was still ongoing.
Feeling pressured by Ruijerd’s decision to stand with Rudeus, he took over Ruijerd’s body, attempting to enter Rudeus’s body through possession. However, he was defeated when Rudeus broke the illusion with “Laxus’s Bone Ring”.
As a final act, he commanded his remaining body parts to take the Sperd tribe with him, but they were healed by a medicine created by Cliff.
