A senior to Rudeus and the grandson of Milis Church’s Pope, Harry Grimoire. He is one year older than Rudeus.
At his birth, his parents died due to political struggles involving his grandfather, leaving him orphaned. He spent his early years in an orphanage until his grandfather emerged victorious in the power struggle and took him in, raising him as a devout follower of the Milis Church.
A prodigy in magic, he mastered advanced magic at a young age and is dubbed the “Egg of the Wise.”
His first encounter with Rudeus was at the Ranoa Magic University.

He wears the Demon Eye of Identification received from Kishirika Kishirisu on the Demon Continent in his right eye. However, he wears an eye patch over his right eye as he has not yet mastered its control.

Strong-willed and hot-headed, he has a tendency to be confrontational and lacks social awareness, resulting in few friends among the Milis Church members.
However, he is genuinely diligent, using his abilities to help the weak and those in need, and remaining loyal to his friends even in adverse situations. He took care of Norn in Rudeus’s absence and volunteered to help find a cure for his friend Nanahoshi’s Drain Syndrome, even venturing to the dangerous Magic Continent.
While he readily evaluates others’ strengths, he often misjudges their capabilities.
He belongs to the accommodating faction within the Milis Church, which aims for peaceful coexistence with the demon race. He lacks prejudice against demons.
He tends to use advanced terminology and theories when instructing, assuming others understand, which makes his teaching less effective, as pointed out by Rudeus.
His first appearance was during the Goblin subjugation with Eris. At the age of 13, he was already skilled in advanced fire, healing, purification, and divine magic, but was humbled by Eris’s strength. He fell in love but later had his heart broken after learning about Rudeus’s actions.
His initial encounter with Rudeus was marked by misunderstandings due to their respective feelings for Eris, but they later became friends when he fell in love with Elinalise.
He eventually marries Elinalise and has a son named Clive.
After graduating from the Ranoa Magic University, he returns to Milishion to aim for a high position within the Milis Church.
During the trial of Claire Latreia for the abduction of Zenith, he stands up for justice and earns recognition among knights for his noble actions.
After returning to Milis from Sharia, he is promoted to Bishop, and in the final chapter, he becomes the Pope.
In the timeline of the older Rudeus, he aids in stealing the God-class detoxification magic from the Milis Holy Kingdom’s cathedral to cure Roxy of the Magic Stone Disease, resulting in his death due to poisoning.

Despite lacking physical training, his combat abilities are not particularly high due to limited combat experience.
During the Wraith subjugation with Norn’s party, he demonstrates exceptional talent in assessing situations and utilizing magic to support allies.
His prowess as a magician is more prominent in research and invention. He excels in magical research and crafting, developing magical tools, barriers, and even successfully creating cures for curses. He’s known for his expertise in magic circles, even surpassing Roxy.
