  • If his body is severed, he shrinks proportionally to the amount severed.

Character Settings

  • He always approaches things with humor, loves alcohole and revelry, and has a cheerful personality.
  • Known as the “Demon Lord of Wisdom,” he possesses higher intelligence compared to other immortal demon tribe members, making him capable of holding a coherent conversation. However, he insists that he’s just a smart fool among fools and often referred to as the “Foolish Demon Lord” even by his own kin.
  • He belongs to the moderate faction among the Demon Lords and lacks an obsession with strength or fame. He values spending time peacefully with loved ones.
  • Due to the long lifespan of the immortal demon tribe, he doesn’t hesitate to consider killing friends with laughter. His view of life and death differs significantly from that of regular individuals.
  • He has a loose sense of time, likely due to his long lifespan and carefree nature.
  • He enjoys gatherings and drinking to the point that when Nanahoshi successfully summoned a plastic bottle, he treated all the guests present to alcohol.
  • He has a wandering streak, and there’s no record of him visiting the Biegoya region where he reigns during the main storyline.
  • He was en route to meet Rudeus in the Central Continent through Elinalise’s guidance but made a detour to the Island of Ogres, where he stayed for about two years. During this time, he fought against the Ogre God Malta and became friend with him. In the end, parted ways with Elinalise.
  • After enrolling in Ranoa Magic University, Badeegadi disappeared after reuniting with Ruijerd, who had been an enemy during the Labrus Conflict, the following year.
  • He was indirectly informed by Hitogami about the existence of a village inhabited by the Sperd tribe, which could potentially provide a means of his survival. He escorted Ruijerd to this village.
  • He allows those who genuinely make him laugh when told to smile to address him by name.

Relationship with Rudeus

  • He became interested in Rudeus when he heard from Kishirika that there was a person from the Human race with magic power exceeding that of Laplace. To meet Rudeus, Badigadi decided to go to the Lanoa Magic University and, with the help of his friend Bagrahagra, crossed the sea to head to the northern part of the Central Continent alongside Elinalise.
  • When he arrived at Ranoa Magic University, the beastkin and Nina-Fallion were challenging Rudeus to a duel. Badigadi intervened, defeating the beastkin and Nina-Fallion, and challenged Rudeus to a duel under the condition that victory would go to whoever could inflict damage using magic. However, he was defeated by Rudeus’s Ston Cannon.
  • Afterward, Badigadi became Rudeus’s friend and enrolled as a special student at the Ranoa Magic University.

Biography

  • Badigadi was born after the First Human-Demon War.
  • During the Second Human-Demon War, Badigadi served as a strategist for the demon side.
  • During the ongoing war, he grew frustrated with the optimistic attitude of the demonkind, who believed that victory would ultimately be theirs.
  • He followed Hitogami’s advice to turn the war in favor of the demons.
  • As a Hitogami Apostle, he became aware of Hitogami’s actions and opposed Laplace.
  • Despite being part of the moderate faction during the Laplace Campaign, he faced Laplace directly in Kishirika’s castle and was nearly annihilated by Laplace’s single attack.
  • He stole the Fighting God’s Golden Armor under Hitogami’s guidance and donned it to protect Kishirika. However, the armor took control of him, leading to a showdown with Laplace. In the end, he killed Kishirika with his own hands.
  • Upon learning the truth about Hitogami’s deceit, he acknowledged that he was not truly wise, just slightly smarter than the other fools around him. He decided to behave as the kind of hearty and carefree man that Kishirika preferred.
  • He once held a grudge against Hitogami but doesn’t dwell on the past much now, as Kishirika has come back to life, and holding onto the past doesn’t suit his carefree Demon Lord persona.
  • Geese requested his cooperation in defeating Rudeus. After a life-threatening drinking contest, where Badigadi recognized Geese as a true hero, and after receiving an apology from Hitogami, Badigadi agreed to cooperate on the condition that it would be a one-time thing. He then donned the Fighting God’s Golden Armor again.
  • He subsequently headed to retrieve the Fighting God’s Golden Armor, which had sunken into the Ringus Sea.

Combat Skills

  • He possesses an incredibly robust physique that can only be harmed by attacks on the level of Sword King-class. His high regeneration abilities allow him to recover from injuries, even if a significant portion of his body is destroyed, given enough time.
  • Even if his limbs are severed or he sustains significant damage, he can regenerate by reattaching the severed limbs to their respective locations.
  • He prefers a brute force combat style, where he doesn’t care about his own injuries as long as he can strike his opponent.
  • He can only be damaged by attacks exceeding the power of Longsword of Light, a level of attack on par with a Sword King’s.
  • He relies on his incredibly durable body and high regeneration abilities, rather than developed combat techniques. His overall combat ability is similar to that of a Sword Emperor.
  • Against opponents with a certain level of attack power, a battle would be futile.
  • He has mentioned that he trains in his own way to be able to act recklessly.
  • In the Second Human-Demon War, he consumed an elixir that blocked the effects of Demon Eyes, rendering those with such eyes unable to perceive him with the effect of Demon Eyes.

Combat Skills with the Fighting God’s Golden Armor

  • It nearly nullifies magic attacks.
  • It possesses self-repair capabilities, making it impervious to destruction.
  • Its defense is so high that even Emperor-class sword techniques can hardly leave a scratch.
  • Physical attacks have almost no effect due to its immense defensive capabilities.
  • Combined with the inherent traits of the Immortal Demon race, including unlimited regeneration, an excessively durable body, and boundless stamina, the Fighting God’s Golden Armor becomes nearly invincible.
  • If Badigadi’s consciousness is completely taken over by the Fighting God’s Golden Armor, it can automatically forge weapons and use one of the thousand secret techniques inscribed within the armor based on the battlefield situation.
  • As long as Badigadi’s consciousness isn’t controlled by the armor, his combat style remains mostly reliant on brute force, resulting in a combat ability comparable to that of the lower-ranking members of the Seven Great Powers.
