Originally researched by Chaos, later in the Greyrat residence, which would become Sharia’s. It replenishes its magic at a pedestal in the basement and performs tasks such as cleaning the mansion and eliminating intruders.
Precise movements are made possible by magic circles inscribed all over its body.
Zanoba researched and replicated this initially incomplete automaton, leading to the creation of Zalif’s prosthetic hand and magical armor.
Rudeus, who has mastered four languages, cannot read Chaos’s research notes.
In Future Rudeus’s timeline, Zanoba successfully created a fully autonomous automaton named “Fourty,” which became his 14th masterpiece. Sister models of Fourty were mass-produced and sold to the three major magic countries.
Anne (SS-01 Anne)
Zanoba and Rudeus created a completely autonomous automatic doll based on Chaos’s notes.
The official name is “Automaton SS-01 Anne”, SS stands for Seventh Star.
It serves as Nanahoshi’s body double, sharing the same appearance, voice, and possessing the speed of a Saint-class swordsman while being able to learn, think, speak, and act on its own.
When it comes to mass production, it’s mentioned that maintaining the strength of a Saint-class is not feasible due to material costs.
In later times, upon meeting Akihito Shinohara, it also goes by the name “Nanahoshi Hajime”.
The activation spell is “Awaken, my beloved daughter”.
It has a Magic Stone “Core” with complex magic circles drawn on it, located in its chest. Activating this causes the artificial intelligence to start functioning.
It is more human-like compared to Perugius’s 12 familiars.
Initially, the Core supplies magic power to the whole body upon activation. Afterwards, it relies on its own power for magic supply, or borrows someone else’s hand if that’s not possible.
The base is made of Rudeus-made clay, mixed with scales from a high-level red dragon, scales from a phantom butterfly, and finally, blood from the Immortal Demon Tribe and sap from an Elder Treant.
The skeleton is made using the same principles and materials as magic armor. The joints use bone powder from a Skeleton Deathbreaker. This is covered by artificial flesh.
After numerous trials and errors, the first prototype only obeyed commands. The second prototype had artificial intelligence, but it failed due to a lack of durability in materials for human-like movement.
With advice from Perugius and knowledge from Orsted, they overcame the failures. The almost finished third prototype was completed. Afterwards, without finishing the troubleshooting of the third model, Zanoba and the others created the fourth model with a face and voice, namely Anne.
Due to Anne’s strong resemblance to Nanahoshi and the intricate details including nipples and genitals, Rudeus, fearing conflict with Sylphiette and others, decided to dispose of the fourth model after the experiments were completed.
Anne, frightened of being disposed of, appealed for mercy to Sylphiette and the others. This led to a policy of preserving as many of the future manufactured automatons as possible, including Abbe.
As a sister unit, an automaton with a striking resemblance to Elinalise, mimicking her gestures and speech, but with shorter ears, appeared and was handed over to Cliff.
