When Rudeus, along with Atofe’s cooperation, negotiated with the various Demon Lords ruling their respective territories to install communication tablets to search for Kishirika wandering the Demon Continent, Atofe’s name was mentioned by Rudeus, which led the Demon Lord to turn pale and even beg for his life.
While the only known way to defeat the immortal demon race is through the Dragon God, she prefers not to kill her opponents in duels and acknowledges their strength, considering herself defeated when she does.
She follows those who defeat her in a duel, forming a contract of forced obedience with those she conquers to add them to her personal guard.
Biography
Born towards the end of the First Human-Demon War.
Served as the vanguard for the demon side during the Second Human-Demon War, but her forces were annihilated after their supply lines were cut off, and she was sealed by humans.
Once again unleashed her terror upon the world under the command of the Demon God Laplace.
Even after the sealing of the Demon God Laplace, she led remnants and made multiple attempts to kill Perugius, who was still weak in combat at the time. In the end, she lost to the North God Kalman in a one-on-one battle and married him.
Gave birth to Alex C. Ryback.
When Kalman passed away, he made a pact forbidding any further deadly confrontations with Perugius.

Atofe’s strength is on par with the lower ranks of the Seven Great Demon Lords. She has never been defeated in a duel except by the Demon God Laplace and the North God Kalman. However, being an Immortal Demon, she tends to get careless and has suffered quite a few painful defeats.
She possesses an immortal body that can regenerate no matter how much damage she takes, even if her limbs are severed.
Learned the North God Style from Kalman, achieving master-level proficiency. She teaches these techniques to her son, Alex C. Ryback, and her personal guard, though she admits she doesn’t fully grasp the martial art’s versatility.
Although she employs the North God Style in battle, it’s a martial art that demands adaptability, and she doesn’t fully utilize it.
She effectively stopped Eris, a sword emperor equivalent, by using Shinken-Shirahadori, halting a sword stroke between her bare hands. She inserted a sword between the bones just before swinging Longsword of Light when her opponent got distracted by her Magic Armor. Even against formidable attacks like Zanoba’s and North Emperor Doga’s, which left mere bruises, she emerged unscathed. She could deal damage to the Ogre God Malta, who had an indestructible body, with bare hands and headbutts.

Has an extremely aggressive personality and constantly seeks battles with strong opponents.
She often cannot comprehend explanations from others when their reasoning doesn’t align with her own and tends to react violently, exclaiming, “Don’t speak nonsense!” even after repeated explanations.
Kishirika once described her as “the dumbest among the Demon Lords, incapable of engaging in a sensible conversation.” She takes offense at being called stupid and easily loses her temper.
There is a legend that a Demon Lord can bestow power upon others, which essentially means they train as her subordinates. If Atofe consents to receiving a reward, she ends up having to join her forces under a contract that obligates her to do so, often leading to their deaths.
Her recruits consider it a great honor to join her personal guard, and Atofe genuinely believes she’s acting with good intentions. Even when given reasons for refusal, she cannot comprehend them.
She follows Kalman’s teachings, believing that the strength of humans lies in gradually complementing their weaknesses through techniques, weapons, and companions. Atofe, too, incorporates human strength into herself, donning armor and forming her personal guard.
In Chapter 22, she admitted defeat in a duel against Rudeus, promising to join his ranks as long as he is alive.
During the final battle with Geese, she joined the fight, taking control of Onigashima, the stronghold of the demon gods.
When Badigadi clad in the Fighting God’s Golden Armor appeared, she defied Rudeus’s orders to challenge him but was defeated and went missing.
In Orsted’s knowledge of the future, it’s almost certain that she will align herself with Laplace’s side in the Second Laplace Campaign, 80 years from now.
Her beloved sword is “Gakusai,” one of the 48 Magic Swords created by Yulian Jalisco.
Philosophy
While Atofe aspired to become a great Demon Lord like her father, Necross Lacross, who was the most powerful Demon Lord during the Human-Demon War, she faced a unique challenge. As a member of the Immortal Demon Race with no lifespan and a tendency not to dwell on the past, her father lacked the tradition of recording history. Consequently, she didn’t know how great her deceased father truly was. After researching from human records, Atofe developed an image of a Demon Lord as an overwhelming threat to humans, one who would engage in battles with heroes attempting to rescue kidnapped princesses, often ending in defeat, thus emulating the behavior often seen in hero tales.
Driven by this image of a Demon Lord, she exhibits behaviors reminiscent of such scenarios, often insisting on one-on-one combat, halting interference, or making dramatic movements for the sake of the spectacle.
Known as the Demon Continent’s strongest Atofe’s guard, they wear black armor that reduces the impact of magic.
All members have mastered the North God Style martial art.
They undergo rigorous training overseen by Atofe herself, renowned for being grueling enough to make them vomit blood. Every ten years, they are granted a two-year leave of absence.
If a member consents to receive a reward from Atofe, they unwittingly enter into a contract that obligates them to serve her until death.
There is a role within Atofe’s guard known as the “Atofe Four Heavenly Kings,” although this designation merely selects the most outstanding “fools” from Atofe’s guard.
They are highly popular among certain Demon races, and some children dream of joining Atofe’s guard.
Atofe’s guard is exceptionally strong, and they invest heavily in equipment, as they are expected to engage in group combat against enemies at the level of Perugius and his familiar.
They often participate in Atofe’s staged trials for heroes, although they rarely engage in serious group combat.
