Thus, she was initially reluctant to ascend to the throne.
Forced into exile by the First Prince’s faction and targeted by assassins, she studied abroad in the Ranoa Kingdom. Among her 17 attendants, only Fitz, Luke, Elmore Bluewolf, and Kleene Elrond survived the assassins’ pursuit.
Derrick Redbat, a member of the royal guard, deeply respected Ariel and often advised that she was most suitable to become the future queen. She aids Rudeus in amassing forces in preparation for the resurrection of the demon god Laplace 80 years later after ascending to the throne.
As of the year 441, she has five children. To prevent others from gaining power, she has not married a specific man. She also has several concubines in her palace.
In the timeline of Old Rudeus, she foolishly attempted to assassinate both the First and Second Princes simultaneously but was thwarted by Water God and North Emperor. She was executed for disturbing the peace of the capital.
