She is the mentor and grandmother of Isolte Cruel.
Formerly the swordsmanship instructor of the Asura Kingdom, her followers still abound in the royal palace.
Reida Reia was summoned along with her disciple Isolte to the sacred grounds to teach Eris the Water God Style’s techniques, at the behest of the Sword God Gal Farion.
Having once battled against Orsted, she was well aware of his strength and ferocity, which astonished Eris in her quest to defeat Orsted.
The name “Reida Reia” is a name passed down through generations of female swordsmasters who inherit the Water God title, and only the current Water God can use it. If a man were to inherit the Water God title, he would bear the name “Reidal.” This tradition pays homage to the first Water God, and “Reida Reia” is not her true name.

An elderly woman with white hair, deeply lined skin, and a stern expression. She is petite in stature.

She doesn’t care much about formalities or differences in status.
She possesses a cold-hearted disposition, willing to eliminate anyone, whether they are a disciple or an ally, if they become a nuisance.
Despite her rough and crude demeanor, she has a dry personality, often engaging in uncouth actions like spitting.
She has a sense of duty and honor, willing to risk her life to repay past debts.
As a leader, she has an eye for talent, but her methods aren’t ideal. She would often force talented young individuals into her dojo, disregarding their own wishes, and subject them to rigorous training, which sometimes led to them rebelling and fleeing.
When she was young, she had a rough and brash personality, often doing things like needlessly smashing through the ceiling just because it looked cool. This behavior, resembling those foolish demons from somewhere, was quite contrary to the patience and seriousness that is often associated with practitioners of the Water God Style swordsmanship.
She fought against Orsted in the past but was spared due to not being an apostle of Hitogami.
During her youth, she fell in love with Darius Silva Ganius, who had rescued her from a retaliatory attack by nobles after she had humiliated them at her dojo. Later in life, she met Dalius again after becoming king class of the Water God Style. However, she was disappointed to see how Dalius had deteriorated both in physique and character.
Her romantic feelings for Dalius faded, but her sense of indebtedness remained. She received a divine revelation from Hitogami while returning from the Holy Land of the Sword and decided to serve in the royal palace once more.
To save Dalius from being overthrown and executed, she tried to protect him during the Deprivation Sword Realm event. She attempted to stop Rudeus, Ariel, and Perugius by having Auber assassinate them. Additionally, she and Dalius posed as assassins from the Dragon King’s Kingdom sent to kill Isolte, with the aim of protecting Dalius and the Water God Style.
However, she met her demise in battle while Auber hesitated to kill defenseless opponents, giving Orsted enough time to arrive and allow Dalius to escape.
She is acquainted with Augusta, Lilia’s father, and briefly stayed at the Water God Style dojo, where she met Paulo.
Combat Abilities
Despite being over 60 years old and past her prime, she has continued to bear the title of “Water God” for nearly 30 years. She created a legendary sixth technique, the “Deprivation Sword Realm,” which combines the two most difficult of the five Water God Style secret techniques.
She is considered stronger than Randolph Marianne, the Death God of the Seven Great Powers, and has a winning rate of around thirty percent when facing the Sword God Gal Farion, which places her at the level of the lower-ranked members of the Seven Great Powers in terms of combat abilities.
She once demonstrated a unique ability to simultaneously stop the attacks of Eris and Ghislaine, both of whom are king-ranked swordsmen serving under Perugius.
However, due to her specialization in defense as a Water God Style practitioner, she may have shortcomings in terms of offense in certain situations.
